& Wine” series developed by Vine Village Board member Sylvia Klenz has been a
favorite of auction-goers. This series features one-of –a-kind etched and
hand-painted labels designed by artists in the Vine Village day program, paired
with exceptional wines from the Fosters Wine Estates family.
Twila Van Damme
created this stunning label design as part of her work in the Vine Village Arts
program. Sylvia Klenz had it etched and hand-painted onto this bottle of 1999
Alexander Valley Stuhlmuller Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Chateau Souverain.
In addition, the winning bidder gets to keep the original framed painting.

Blur Heron Rookery? It is one of only a small handful of breeding sites in the
entire state! Each spring these magnificent birds – standing four feet tall and
with a six-foot wingspan – return to Vine Village. Their rookery is made up of
large platform nests built high in the eucalyptus trees, above the creek far
below. In an average year, the Vine Village eucalyptus trees will be home to 16
– 18 active nests! Through a powerful scope, you’ll view the awesomeness of an
entire flock of these marvelous birds and also observe their nestlings begging
to be fed.
